The Itinerary

Pick up

Burdah Rock Bridge is located not too far from our Bedouin camp in the heart of the desert. Therefore, we start the day easy with a nutritious breakfast. Once you are ready, our Bedouin hiking guide will pick you up in a 4×4 Jeep. Usually, the hiking expedition starts at 9 am.

Climb up

Yes, to get to Burdah Rock Bridge, you have to CLIMB. It being more intense than a simple hike, we recommend the hike to explorers with good fitness only. The climb up, however, should only take you an hour though. Our Bedouin guide will lead you to the top.

The Rock Bridge

At the end of the climb, you are presented with the pinnacle, the walk over Burdah Rock Bridge. But pay attention while you attempt the tight-rope walk over this natural marvel. If possible, we will have someone take a photo of your victory walk over the stone arch of Burdah.

The Climb down

Take a moment to inhale, exhale and rest your legs before we scramble back down the rocky terrain. We will provide you with water to replenish your resources for the second leg of the hike. Be sure to watch your steps as we maneuver through the hiking route  towards our resting place in the shade at the foot of the mountain.

Bedouin lunch and tea

Once you are back at the point where you started the hike, we will find a shady spot for you, where you can take off your boots and relax your feet. We will prepare some Bedouin tea for you as you wait for your traditional Bedouin lunch.

The Rest of your day

After lunch, our hiking expedition has officially reached its end. So now, it is up to your and your wishes again. Make your way back to the camp with your guide to relax until dinner or embark on a thrilling Half Day Jeep Tour through Wadi Rum to discover even more the desert‘s secrets.
