drive through the red desert
To get to the White Desert we have to cross the famous Red Desert of Wadi Rum first. Our 4×4 Jeep is shielded from the sun, so get on the back of it and enjoy the desert landscapes as we venture deep into the Wadi where only few tourists go.

The hike should take no longer than an hour.
Wadi Nuqra Yellow Sand Dune
With our muscles active and the destinations in sight, we penetrate the White Desert to reach the first of its many imposing sand dunes. Wadi Nuqra‘s sand dune offers itself to some fun scrambling in the yellow sand before we take it down a notch to avoid the midday heat.

Get ready for an authentic Bedouin lunch cooked by your guide. Top it off with sone sweet Bedouin tea.
Old bedouin storage
While tourists rarely venture this far into the White Desert of Wadi Rum, the nomads have done so for centuries. Traces of their history remain until today. One of those is the Old Bedouin Storage that we are going to show you. Witness how Bedouins made a livelihood for themselves – even in the harshest conditions.
Umm Ghdah Canyon Walk
The Umm Ghdah Canyon is the next stop on our White Desert Tour and the perfect afternoon activity. The canyon is home to lots of shade, vegetation and plentiful animals, predominantly insects and reptiles.

sunset
As the sun moves back towards the horizon, it is time for us to turn around the Jeep and head back to where we came from. On the way back, we will come across the perfect place to watch the sunset. Throw down some mats, grab a glass of sweet Bedouin time and enjoy a beautiful desert sunset.
camp dinner and shower (optional)
If you choose to do so, your guide will drive you to our desert camp, where you can grab a cold (or hot) shower and indulge in a big dinner buffet. Fill your stomach in the company of fellow travelers and Bedouins before setting out to the desert again.

drive to the cave
If you don‘t want to make a stop at the camp, we will make our way to the cave straight from our sunset spot. If you stopped at the camp, we will make our way to the cave after 9 pm. In any case, we will leave behind the lights of the desert camps and arrive to the solitude of the mountain cave.
dinner in the cave (optional)
If you haven‘t filled your stomach in the camp yet, it is time again for some classy Bedouin outdoor cooking. Take of your boots, sip on some tea and watch the dance of the flames as your Bedouin guide prepares a traditional dinner for you. And most importantly, feel free to ask for more water.

sleep under the stars
As we clean our plates from dinner‘s food, we calm down and reminisce about the day. Barely disturbed by any light, we will have the chance to enjoy some of the clearest night skies you will ever witness. When it‘s time, we lay down your mat and your blankets, and you can lay down to get some much-needed sleep.
